Albacete Cathedral
Also known as the Cathedral of San Juan de Albacete and built in the 20th century, the Cathedral of Albacete holds a great treasure in its interior, we are talking about its large oil paintings on canvas, a work that occupies more than 1000m2. It is the second largest work of this type in the world. Furthermore, the Cathedral was declared an Asset of Cultural Interest in 1892.
Museum of Cutlery
The cutlery industry is one of the most important in Albacete, which is why Albacete has a Museum of Cutlery. It is a unique museum in Spain, in which you can find unique and extravagant pieces, as well as go through the whole history of cutlery. Admission to the museum is only 3€ and on Wednesdays there is free admission.
The Altozano Square
The Plaza del Altozano is surrounded by different buildings of great interest such as the Palace of Justice, the Altozano air raid shelter or the municipal museum of Albacete. Inside the square you can find the Jardines del Altozano, the oldest park in Albacete, where you can see different monuments, the Monumento al Cuchillero, the Bicha de Bazalote or the Gran Dama de Oriente.
